IMPACT

Successfully created the visionary state for Human Systems' mobile app through extensive research and ideation, culminating in the creation of an MVP that is being rigorously tested with targeted student groups at UCLA in 2024.

In the first few rounds of testing, we found an 87% approval rate from students using the beta MVP.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Envisioned and designed an AI-powered education and wellness app, transforming traditional learning models into a personalized, student-focused experience. This journey involved deep collaboration with our vision team, consisting of another senior product designer, a creative director, and a product manager. Our goal was to develop a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) for broader testing in university settings.

We began to explore vision

We created a custom GPT to consult based on key findings and research from external client teams.

This assisted us with things like organizing/sorting and refining research and feedback, flow and moment creation, and general, credible research for our product’s vision

We developed user journeys, analyzed our information architecture, and conducted competitive analysis to identify unique features that could distinguish our product from others.

We soon had an initial design vision

We ran an external imagination workshop in San Diego to showcase our initial vision with 50 members, which was a success

We participated in master classes from other teams on their expertises and findings in AI / wellness, community, education

We ran an external collaborative discovery session with the heads of each department as well as primary stakeholders to dig deeper into key product areas

We ran a community brainstorm session with the client to align on fundamental guiding principles and used our custom GPT to analyze and organize / refine our findinds
